Palestine was named for the Philistines who controlled where today is the Gaza Strip, little more, all but disappeared as a distinct people group by 700 b. c., yet Alexander the Great took their name to affix to the Holy Land in order to spite the Jews, calling the land Palestine, that label embraced by the Romans, and to this day by such as globalist H. R. McMaster distorting history to favor Israel’s enemies.
