Shambala, the buddhist paradise, was named for Noah’s son Shem, also the canaanite god Baalshamin, the word shaman for supernatural healer brought to western China (through the Dzungarian Gate of eastern Kazakhstan during the Ice Age) by the Sinites, a tribe of Canaan, for whom was named China.
