Plato was very clear in his description of the geography of greater Atlantis (more than the concentric canal city now submerged south of Cadiz), that it extended from Gibraltar eastward to Libya and the Tyrrhenian sea (Italy), and outside Gibraltar as well, obviously a coastline empire (during the Ice Age), therefore, all the imaginations that Atlantis was a huge island out in the Atlantic are completely without basis, hiding the fact that Atlantis, a bronze age culture according to Plato, was coastal and consumed by the sea when the Ice Age ended circa 1500 b. c.
