Many biblephobes hang their hat on the supposed fact that the universe is billions of years old so the history in the book of Genesis must be false, yet gravitational time dilation has caused the stars to appear to be billions of years old, billions of light years away, because when matter was expanding outward during days two, three, and four of the six days of creation the speed of light was greatly accelerated. The Big Bang theory would accommodate this notion but for the fact that by that theory, the matter of the universe is boundless whereas the nature of matter having expanded from a beginning point necessitates that it’s bounded.
