Who became known as the Apostles either accurately reported the life of Jesus, the crucifixion, then resurrection, or they made up the story of the Messiah, and in such a way that the many and very specific old testament prophecies about His coming were fulfilled, so which is more likely, that they succeeded in executing an elaborate hoax about the Messiah having come to earth so that none in Jerusalem questioned the accounts in the Gospels begun distributed twenty years later, or that Jesus is the Messiah come at the appointed time (see Daniel 9).
