Strategists in the White House apparently saw a golden opportunity to re-inject the fact that Fusion GPS produced the bogus “golden shower dossier,” on which was predicated the opening of investigations into “russian collusion” by the FBI and CIA, when they added to Trump Jr.’s statement about the meeting with russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya that she is involved with Fusion GPS (one of her clients in Russia hired them to lobby against the Magnitsky Act), and that Trump Jr. added to his statement that she supposedly had information against Team Hillary brings back into light that it could relate to the Clinton Foundation and the Uranium One deal.
