When students at our colleges and universities learning the uniformitarian interpretation of geologic history see the vast sedimentary layers often stacked like pancakes with billions of creatures entombed therein, tellingly with no fossil soil layers between the layers, they realize that many transgressions and regressions of the ocean upon then off the continents cannot explain it, the obvious solution that it was one flood, that described in the book of Genesis, when the mountains rose at the close of the Flood as Pangea had completed its separation by rapid plate tectonics during the time of the Flood.
