Rather than admit that they are flummoxed by the audaciously effective tactical moves of president Trump, the establishment media types are now fond of saying that they are stunned by what he does, taking that word from James Comey’s testimony to the Senate that he was stunned by Trump’s political tactics, though stunned of course telegraphing powerlessness, the proverbial deer-in-the-headlights, certainly an image of the anti-Trump forces which you’d think they would not want self-portrayed.
