Not knowing whether president Trump actually has a recording of his meeting with Comey, the opposition to Trump is rendered impotent in their advocation of the supposed veracity of Comey’s testimony, and that they may never know (unless a court order would require it) only drives them deeper into their depressed confusion about Trump.
