Although the six-days-of-creation is rightly placed (first by Bishop Ussher) at circa 4004 b. c., because there would have been no need for the Savior and the prophecies which He would fulfill had Adam and Eve not fallen (succumbed to Satan’s temptation), the count for the six thousand years (“a day to Him is as a thousand years”) until His return was begun when Adam and Eve fell, perhaps about twenty-five years after the six-days-of-creation.
