No ancient writings question whether Isaac was the son of Abraham offered for sacrifice in obedience to Elohim (later replaced by the ram) until the time of Muhammad, two-and-a half millennia after the time of Abraham, so why should anyway believe the islamic version while considering that the biblical history was written contemporaneous to the events?
