Miami is built on a sandbar, and sandbars are eroded by the sea, which to a simpleton could seem to indicate that the ocean is rising, to those aware of the erosion process though, just that, and thusly the continents are being degraded by tidal scouring at the seashore, as well by the erosive action caused by rainfall, streams, and rivers, at a very slow rate of course, yet sufficient to have eroded the continents to sea level within 15 million years if in fact they are that old, which obviously they are not!
