The four great rivers which flowed from the fountainhead in the Garden of Eden, the Tigris, Euphrates, Pishon, and Gihon are said by the old earth creationists to have been today’s Tigris and Euphrates plus Iran’s Karun river and the Wadi Ramah (or Batin) of northern Arabia, but those flow toward each other not away, because the Tigris and Euphrates of today were named for two of the four pre-Flood rivers, but the Gihon and Pishon forgotten except in the book of Genesis.
