In the Admonitions of Ipuwer, otherwise known as the Ipuwer Papyrus, described are the disasters which befell Egypt mirroring the calamities on the pharaoh when the Jews were leaving Egypt to begin their Exodus to Canaan (the Promised Land), catastrophic desertification of the land causing anarchy, because that circa 1450 b. c. was during the end of the Ice Age when such occurred throughout the middle latitudes of the world.
