Egypt is probably the rightful name for that country because its namesake is Geb who was Ham (“Kem”), the country named by the Greeks Ai-Gebtos for the city first built by Noah’s son Ham, the city of Gebtu on the Nile, Egypt populated mostly by the progeny of Ham’s son Misor, the Misraim (see Genesis 10), hence the alternative name for the country Misr.
