Section 230 protection was given to social media companies over twenty years ago because they were seen and so were determined to be treated legally as bulletin boards for the information and opinions from the public, not as publishers, any liability for what’s said on the authors not on the bulletin boards, so obviously Facebook and Twitter have violated their end-of-the-deal.
