Tear Gas in D. C. Used Only to Clear the Way for Fire Trucks to Saint John’s Church Pepper Balls the Other


On Face the Nation today, attorney general William Barr set the record straight that tear gas was used in D. C. only to clear a path through the rioters for the fire truck to come to St. John’s church which had been set ablaze, only pepper balls (not a gas) used on other rioters who were resisting the clearance of Lafayette Park to enlarge the perimeter around the White House.
