This evening it’s being rumored that Nancy Pelosi is set to transmit the articles of impeachment to the Senate late Friday afternoon, right before the weekend of less news coverage, which is not what you’d expect if she were confident. Mitch McConnell could really go for the slam dunk by calling Adam Schiff, Eric Ciaramella, and the Biden boys (Joe and Hunter) to come testify, but even without that the trial will last for two weeks, plenty of time for the Republicans to layout the counter narrative, exposing details of the Ukraine hoax even without those characters testifying.
