The Word says that He is both a sword and a shield for the born again, a sword for offense and shield for defense in the intense ongoing spiritual warfare in the world since the fall of Adam and Eve, so the more of the Word you learn, the more Elohim can work in your life, by Spirit prompting verses to come to mind when most needed, driving out the darkness.
