As the chief supplier for Iran’s nuclear program and her biggest (and nearly only) strategic ally, Russia could tell Iran to stop the nuclear weapons program today and it would be done, but Putin likes Iran as a thorn in the side in the Middle East, obviously in agreement with Iran that Israel should be defeated.
