Congressperson Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has become such a famous person that she’s known as AOC, but president Trump is taking her down-a-notch in calling her just Cortez, like a crime suspect or the Conquistador of the “indigenous” (they had come from the Tower of Babel) people of Central America, so Cortez it is, just as simple as AOC yet appropriately pedestrian.
