During the Ice Age, out of the mountainous areas spaced across the middle of the Sahara flowed perennial streams, artesian, into the lakes which now are vast sand stretches of the Sahara, and the over 500 works of art depicting horse-drawn chariots etched into the cliffs over what were streams, now wadis, of those mountain ranges certainly helps prove that the Ice Age ended actually circa 1500 b. c.
