From the time of Moses and Joshua onward, Israel no doubt was famous in all the world, because all the trade routes by land among the three continents which come together there (Asia, Africa, and Europe) went through the Holy Land, so imagine the fame of Solomon gone far and wide, and ultimately Jesus, the Word made known quickly from that crossroads of the “old world.”
