What makes the #5 box office finish over the weekend for the movie Unplanned (its opening weekend) wonderfully impressive is that it played in only about 1,000 theaters while the top four finishers played in 3,000 to 4,000 theaters, so with much more exposure thanks to the uproar about the establishment media’s blackout of the film’s advertising, and its profitability obvious to the theater owners, perhaps by this weekend, Unplanned will be showing in 3,000 theaters or more.
