Waters of Merom Near Headwaters of Jordan River Lake Hula Named for Hul a Son of Aram Hence Behemoth Knowledge

Some think it odd that long-suffering Job in the land of Aram’s son Uz (Uzbekistan) had knowledge of Behemoth in the Jordan river, but another son of Aram named Hul was the namesake of lake Hula or Hulatta (drained in the 1950’s), north of the Sea of Galilee on the Jordan river, so brothers do talk you know, by word of mouth or long-distance travel. In the Bible that lake is called the waters of Merom, which means high place, though only relatively high, compared to the Sea of Galilee and the Dead Sea on downstream, but very low in reality at only about 150 feet above sea level, with mount Hermon at almost 10,000 feet only a few miles to the northwest, quite a drop into the Jordan valley.
