Juan Guaido has offered the military personnel of Venezuela amnesty if they will renounce their service to Maduro, and today president Trump in Miami, speaking to a big crowd of Venezuelans, reiterated that ultimatum, that otherwise the two thousand generals under Maduro will have a rough future, to say the least. Trump emphasized to the raucous crowd that it’s unacceptable for Venezuelan military personnel to continue turning away U. S. aid trucks at the border with Colombia, so perhaps some U. S. muscle will be applied at those choke points, unless the generals decide to wave the aid on through.
