Obvious by ancient geographic labels, the Kushites settled on both sides of the Indian Ocean, in the land of Kush south and east of Egypt in Africa, and the Indus Valley Civilization (with Indo European progeny of Japheth’s son Madai) proven by the ancient naming of the Hindu Kush mountains, and the ice age city of Kushasthali now submerged in the Gulf of Kutch off northwest India. The ringleader of the Tower of Babel, Nimrod, was a son of Kush, in Sumer circa 2200 b. c., so the tribe Kush clearly spread southwestward and eastward when the confusion of the languages had occurred.
