Trump Can Ban or Refuse to Answer Questions from Whomever He Wishes But More for Diminishing Returns


If president Trump were refusing CNN’s Jim Acosta for no good reason, the public outcry would bury the president, but since probably three-quarters of the nation is still laughing at Acosta, Trump’s all good on this one. So the president has the right to not respond to whomever he wishes, always subject to public backlash, it’s up to Trump not to the media companies to decide.
