The U. S. Stopped Immigration for Forty Years in Middle of Twentieth Century so Ports of Entry are Generous

Keep in mind that from the 1920’s on into the 1960’s, no immigration was allowed into the U. S. so that the millions immigrated in the previous years would be assimilated, and who can argue that there are millions in the U. S. now who don’t even want to assimilate?
