Obama should be asked why he didn’t report to the public the known cases of Russian meddling during the 2016 presidential campaign, why didn’t he say that those cases were being pursued to prosecution and that the public should be aware of such attempts to interfere as the 2016 campaign proceeded to election day? Apparently Trump, after his Helsinki meeting with Putin, isn’t expecting Russian meddling in the 2018 midterms, but when/if such would be detected, surely Trump will let the public know.
