Keep in mind that Thomas Hardiman was reportedly the runner-up in president Trump’s last Supreme Court nomination of Neil Gorsuch, so if Trump doesn’t nominate Hardiman this time, he’ll have a hard time explaining it to his sister who worked with Hardiman, very good friends.
