Crete Named for Daughter of Asterion the Husband of Canaanite Europa & Adopted Her Son Minos After Ice Age

Translate:

Kaptor (named for the Caphtorim) had been the name of the island now called Crete until king Asterion married the Canaanite Europa and adopted her son Minos who became king. Crete was a daughter of Asterion for whom the island became known at that time, just after the Ice Age, when Europa’s brothers Cilix, Cadmus, and Phoenix were bringing the semitic alphabet to tribes of the Aegean.
