Considering Noah had no children until he was five hundred years old, the grandsons of Noah who had sons and daughters not listed in the Table of Nations (Genesis 10) had many because they were capable of it during the hundreds of years that they lived, for many offspring sufficient for thousands of people by the time of the Tower of Babel and millions within a few generations thereafter.
