Kirstjen Nielsen, the secretary of Homeland Security, today told the White House press corp that Congress must act now to change immigration law in order to rebuff the burgeoning flows of illegal immigrants from the south, so if Congress fails to act, it will not be pretty for the Democrats during the fall midterm elections, and Republicans not pushing for action now also will not receive much support from the growing majority of Americans supporting Trump’s agenda.
