At Camp David this weekend, president Trump said essentially that he’s supporting the incumbent Republicans for Congress in 2018, primary challengers apparently of not much interest to the president, so maybe he’s giving the incumbents who have given him a hard time a chance to change their ways, which with continued Tea Party public outcry well could happen.
