Via tweet this morning, president Trump exclaimed that the trillions of dollars the U. S. is supposed to spend to fight the dreaded “global warming” would be a bad thing considering the eastern U. S. now faced with life-threatening record cold temperatures. Of course the warming of the atmosphere by temporary increases of solar output (or even by excessive carbon dioxide gas if it were true) heats the ocean’s surface for more evaporation off it for more cloud cover which cools the atmosphere back down, it’s hydrology 101 which should be obvious to everyone.
