Special counsel Robert Mueller and the DOJ’s Rod Rosenstein were overseeing the investigation of the Russians’ criminal activity in securing uranium rights through the Uranium One deal beginning back in 2009, those two now heading the investigation into Russian influence on U. S. elections, yet they never reported to Congress nor suggested the Uranium One deal shouldn’t be done, which is why invigorated Iowa senator Chuck Grassley yesterday said some involved in the investigation are compromised, and that the confidential informant in the case should testify publicly before the Senate.
