Recalcitrant Republican Congresspersons Facing Their Waterloo in 2018 Incentivized Now to Pass Healthcare & Taxes


Republican congresspersons who thus far have opposed president Trump’s efforts for healthcare and tax reform, who are facing reelection campaigns for the 2018 midterms, are highly incentivized now to see that at least one of those measures is passed this year, because if not, their odds of falling prey to Tea Party type candidates in the spring primaries greatly increase.
