Bump stocks cause semi-automatics to be capable of ten times the rate of shots, the same as machine guns, so the fact that machine guns are illegal makes it easy for president Trump to logically maintain that bump stocks should be illegal, in the same presentation scolding the hypocritical Democrats for letting Obama’s administration make them legal, and then emphasizing that this in no way changes his strong support for the 2nd Amendment then actually strengthened.
