President Trump’s Remaining Advisers Either Underestimated Tea Party Power or Sought to Undermine Loyal Base

It’s doubtful that president Trump would have endorsed Luther Strange if he had thought that it was highly unlikely that Strange would win, so his advisers must have convinced Trump that Strange had a good chance, and that Roy Moore would probably lose against the Democrat in the general election on Dec. 2nd. Seemingly Trump’s remaining advisers want no part of the Tea Party which won them the White House, yet we hope the president realizes (as it seems that he does) that Tea Party issues attract Democrats, for instance attracted to national sovereignty, secure borders, lower tax rates for middle income people, and standing for the national anthem!
