The Word tells us the friends of Israel will find favor in His eyes, so considering the Muslim nations arrayed against tiny Israel (the size of New Jersey), she needs all the help she can get, that help now coming from no great nation except the United States, which is why Elohim continues to show favor. When the big war after which the Tribulation occurs, the war described in Ezekiel 38 & 39, the Rapture may or may not have happened, if not, with such as president Trump at the helm, Israel will have human help, though certainly not needed for that miraculous victory.
