In Ancient World Many Languages Spoken in Regions Where Now Only a Few Uttered so Why That Many Tongues Early?

After Noah’s Flood and the Tower of Babel, during the Ice Age, dozens of languages were spoken in southern Europe (northern Europe except the coastal strips was covered in snow), the Levant, and eastward into Central Asia, where now far fewer languages are spoken, which of course consternates the darwinists who say the various languages evolved from one or a few to many, the  opposite seen in the history of language.
