Baltimore Mayor Catherine Pugh Takes Down Four Confederate Statues so Now Venerators Must Adapt to Reality


She got it done quick, Mayor Catherine Pugh last night took down four confederate statues in Baltimore, which is understandable considering the presence of the statues no doubt was continually opening old wounds, memories of the days of slavery, so fans of the Confederacy, either outright advocating white supremacy or merely interested in the history of the old South, can see the objects of their interest in museums, part of history but no longer part of legitimate U. S. culture.
