Establishment Democrats thought Trump would be the easiest of the Republican presidential candidates to beat in the general election, proven by a John Podesta email provided in the WikiLeaks trove, Podesta having put out the word that the TV networks (in bed with the Democrats) should provide Trump the coverage he would need to win the Republican nomination.
