Pure Cherokees genetically have much Hebrew in their ancestry (proven by DNA analysis of those on the Qualla reservation), and their creator god is Ye ho wah, the same as YHWH (Yahweh), one of the hebrew names for the Creator (Elohim), so when you consider that the origin of the tribal name Iowa is ostensibly unknown, probably Yahweh is the namesake, that name YHWH on several rock faces in America such as the Las Lunas Decalogue Stone and the Newark Decalogue Stone.
