At the mouths of the rivers of ice age Canaan are submerged ruins of bronze age vintage, submerged near the mouths of the rivers Ibrahim (Byblos), Arwali (Sidon), Leontes (Yarmuta), and Oren (Atlit Yam), the only submerged ruins somewhat distant from a river (the Leontes) being Tyre, become strategic when the Ice Age ended to submerge the ice age port cities worldwide.
