Kim is from the Chinese word for gold (kam or jin), apparently the ancient ancestor worthy of gold, because Kami of Japan was their ancient superior or lord, he was Cham or Ham, a son of Noah, his name memorialized too in Cambodia, the Gulf of Chambay (India), and Kemet/Geb (Egypt).
