Senators Would Have to Face Ire of Electorate in 2018 Should They Refuse Federal Funds to States for Uninsurable

If the House of Representatives passes the healthcare bill as expected today, including what had been the big sticking point, that federal funding should be provided to states which refuse the requirement for insurance companies to service people suffering preexisting conditions, then the legislators in the Senate, up for reelection in 2018, will have to decide whether they want to support the legislation from the House in principle, or support the continuance of the monstrosity known as Obamacare.
