Assuming President Trump Knew House Would Not Mandate Insuring Preexistent Conditions He Whacked Paul Ryan


President Trump, knowing his base very well, probably realized Paul Ryan’s bill including the mandate that insurance companies cover people with pre-existing conditions would not pass in the House of Representatives, but showed support for it anyway, because the backlash against it from Trump’s base surely sent a message to the members of the Senate who are up for reelection in 2018.
